APAIT/SSG Welcomes California Leaders for Hollywood Behavioral Health Tour

California behavioral health leaders visited Hollywood to see how local partnerships are addressing mental health and homelessness through coordinated care.

The visit included California Health & Human Services Agency Secretary Kim Johnson, along with leaders from state and county agencies. During the tour, officials stopped at APAIT/SSG’s Mark Twain interim housing site, where APAIT Division Director Jury Candelario, SSG Director of Administration and Clinical Services Hayley Levy, and APAIT On-Site Property Manager Daniel Cho shared how supportive housing and wraparound services help adults and transitional age youth experiencing homelessness stabilize and move toward long-term recovery.

Thank you to the many frontline providers and partners who shared their work and insights, and to Kerry Morrison for coordinating the visit.
